You will lead the development and deployment of production-grade AI systems for high-impact government clients. What You Will Do
- Lead the technical scoping and architectural decisions for high-impact ML systems across various UK government departments such as DWP and HMRC.
- Design and build production-grade ML software and scalable infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, translating complex machine learning methodologies into actionable strategies for non-technical government leadership.
The ideal candidate
- Deep expertise in the full ML lifecycle with significant experience operationalizing models using Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch within robust, reusable production systems.
- Proven mastery of container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, alongside strong hands-on experience with cloud architecture and security standards.
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) and ideally a professional background working within UK government departments like DWP, HMRC, HMT, or DSIT.
