Your salary, benefits & hours of work
- Salary: £44,000-£48,000 depending on experience
- Benefits: Up to 7.5% matched pension contribution, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, rising by up to 3 days with service, and life assurance up to 5x basic salary.
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30, Friday 08:00 to 13:30

What you'll do as the Senior Maintenance Engineer
- Be the go-to person for everything Maintenance and associated responsibilities regarding contractors on a self-contained Cardiff site of around 90 people, line managing the site Maintenance Engineer.
- Lead site and machine maintenance, infrastructure and utilities, keeping everything reliable and compliant.
- Build and run a planned preventative maintenance programme to cut downtime.
- Coordinate and control contractors and external specialists, making sure work is delivered safely.
- Support operational teams with risk assessments, safe systems of work and method statements.
- Help drive the business towards its next ISO certification and audit.
- Get hands-on with repairs alongside the Maintenance Engineer when needed.

What you'll need to apply for the Senior Maintenance Engineer
- Hands-on maintenance and maintenance management in a manufacturing environment. Ideally with an electrical background and CNC maintenance experience.
- Understanding of how to manage a preventative maintenance schedule.
- Experience managing contractors and coordinating external service providers.
- Experience with risk assessments and the willingness to undertake IOSH courses.
