Following a period of significant growth, the organisation is now investing further in its finance function. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join at a time of transformation, increased focus and operational improvement.
With a major finance systems implementation planned, alongside a drive to enhance processes, strengthen controls and improve the quality of management information, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact and help shape how finance supports the future growth of the organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting while helping to develop a more robust, efficient and commercially focused finance function.
This is a role for someone who enjoys looking beyond the numbers - someone who can identify opportunities, challenge existing processes and work collaboratively across the business to drive improvements.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Preparing detailed financial analysis and providing insight into business performance.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Working closely with operational teams to improve financial understanding and decision-making.
- Playing a key role in the implementation of a new finance system.
- Reviewing and improving existing finance processes and controls.
- Ensuring accounts are subject to appropriate levels of scrutiny and governance.
- Supporting audit requirements and statutory reporting.
- Contributing to wider finance transformation projects as the business continues to grow.
About You
This role would suit a qualified accountant who is looking for exposure, responsibility and the opportunity to influence change within a growing organisation.
You will ideally have:
- A full professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- A minimum of one year's post-qualified experience.
- Strong management accounting experience gained within a commercial, complex or fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- A proactive mindset with a natural curiosity to understand the business behind the numbers.
- The confidence to challenge existing processes and suggest improvements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with finance systems and improving processes.

Experience of supporting a finance transformation, ERP implementation or wider change programme would be advantageous, although not essential.
