About the Company
Our client is a leading international business operating within the commodities and financial services sector, with an established presence in London.
They are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to join their Finance team and support the Senior Finance Manager across a broad range of accounting, reporting and financial control activities.
About the Role
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance function across daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting processes.
The role will provide exposure to management accounting, group reporting, financial controls, audit and a range of wider finance projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and supporting schedules
- Prepare daily and monthly journals and associated supporting documentation
- Prepare quarterly group reporting
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare intercompany revenue and cost allocations and recharges
- Complete relevant ONS reporting
- Support the quarterly and annual audit processes
- Assist with internal, external and J-SOX audits
- Support the Senior Finance Manager with ad hoc finance projects and initiatives
- Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and in line with relevant policies and controls

About You
The successful candidate will have:
- ACA qualification - essential
- Strong experience within management accounting
- Previous experience within Financial Services, Commodities or a similar environment is preferred
- Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience using Power BI
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider Finance team
