SF Partners is working exclusively with a high-growth, multi-divisional business operating across infrastructure, engineering and project-led environments.

Following significant expansion, the business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant who can take ownership of divisional reporting while partnering closely with operational and senior leadership teams.

The role

You will support divisional leaders with a clear understanding of financial performance, including trading position, forecasts and cash flow. You will also work closely with the Financial Controller on group reporting and financial control.

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing monthly management accounts with meaningful performance commentary
  • Owning the divisional balance sheet and associated controls
  • Managing and delivering the divisional budgeting process
  • Producing rolling forecasts and supporting cash-flow visibility
  • Business partnering with divisional leadership teams
  • Supporting tendering, contract costing and new project opportunities
  • Assisting with statutory audit and wider external compliance
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with consolidated group reporting

The successful candidate

The successful candidate will ideally bring:

  • Experience within construction, infrastructure or another project-led environment
  • Knowledge of long-term contracts and project accounting
  • The ability to explain financial performance clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • A hands-on and commercially focused approach
  • Confidence working with divisional leaders and visiting operational sites
  • Experience using COINS or another project-based ERP system would be advantageous
