SF Partners is working exclusively with a high-growth, multi-divisional business operating across infrastructure, engineering and project-led environments.
Following significant expansion, the business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant who can take ownership of divisional reporting while partnering closely with operational and senior leadership teams.
The role
You will support divisional leaders with a clear understanding of financial performance, including trading position, forecasts and cash flow. You will also work closely with the Financial Controller on group reporting and financial control.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing monthly management accounts with meaningful performance commentary
- Owning the divisional balance sheet and associated controls
- Managing and delivering the divisional budgeting process
- Producing rolling forecasts and supporting cash-flow visibility
- Business partnering with divisional leadership teams
- Supporting tendering, contract costing and new project opportunities
- Assisting with statutory audit and wider external compliance
- Supporting the Financial Controller with consolidated group reporting

The successful candidate
The successful candidate will ideally bring:
- Experience within construction, infrastructure or another project-led environment
- Knowledge of long-term contracts and project accounting
- The ability to explain financial performance clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- A hands-on and commercially focused approach
- Confidence working with divisional leaders and visiting operational sites
- Experience using COINS or another project-based ERP system would be advantageous
