Senior Management Accountant
As a Senior Management Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing financial processes and delivering timely management accounts to support decision-making. Your work will help ensure the smooth running of the organisation's financial operations and provide valuable insights for strategic planning.

A private equity-backed financial services group with a strong reputation in wealth management and financial planning, known for its growth, ambitious culture and focus on career development.
Description
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for a portfolio of group companies.
- Perform monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances where required.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, including partial exemption calculations.
- Support the ongoing development and enhancement of financial controls and governance procedures.
- Assist with acquisitions by contributing to due diligence activities and post-acquisition integration.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities to key stakeholders.
- Play a key role in the year-end audit process, coordinating information and liaising with external auditors.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle through analysis, reporting, and financial insight.
- Deliver ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis to support senior management decision-making.
- Contribute to business improvement initiatives, finance projects, and other duties as required.

A Successful Senior Management Accountant Should Have
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
- Experience preparing management accounts and financial reports.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders
