Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant who enjoys analysing data, improving performance and influencing business decisions?
We are partnering with a market-leading organisation with annual revenues exceeding £1.2bn, seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.
This is a highly visible role where you'll work closely with senior finance leaders, supporting profitability, financial control, reporting and business performance across a complex and fast-moving operation.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining strong controls and delivering meaningful analysis that drives informed decision-making.
You'll have exposure to senior stakeholders including the Financial Controller, Finance Business Partners and CFO, providing both financial insight and challenge across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely gross margin reporting
- Analyse product and service profitability, identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Investigate trends, variances and potential revenue leakage
- Review and manage balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring risks are identified and resolved
- Monitor stock movements, losses and cost price changes
- Support month-end reporting, delivering insightful commentary and financial analysis
- Strengthen and maintain robust financial controls
- Act as a key contact for audit activity and compliance requirements
- Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities
- Support ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
We're looking for an analytical and proactive finance professional who enjoys working with large volumes of data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification (or be progressing towards qualification)
Experience:
- Previous experience within Management Accounting, Financial Analysis or Margin Analysis
Skills:
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUPs and VLOOKUPs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- The confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance audiences
Advantages:
- Experience working within a large, complex organisation would be highly advantageous
