Senior Management Accountant
Required for an international technology and manufacturing company providing highly engineered products and solutions to customers across diverse global markets. This is a genuine opportunity to develop into a senior finance leadership position.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a broad and commercially focused senior management accounting role, partnering with operational leaders, driving financial performance, and helping shape the future direction of the finance function. Working closely with experienced finance leaders, you’ll gain exposure to strategic decision-making, people leadership, financial controls, reporting, business partnering, and continuous improvement initiatives. We’re looking for someone with the ambition and potential to grow into a key leadership role as part of our long-term succession planning.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of key areas of the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and insightful management information.
- Deliver accurate management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis
- Support month-end, year-end, and compliance activities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Manage balance sheet integrity, fixed assets, and financial controls
- Coordinate audit and statutory reporting requirements
- Drive process improvements and finance transformation projects
- Partner with the business to support performance and decision-making
- Develop and mentor finance team members
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified or studying Accountant (CIMA, ACCA)
- Experience within management accounting, finance business partnering, or a senior accounting role
- Strong experience working with complex ERP systems
- Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex accounting issues
- Sound understanding of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising finance team members
- Ambition to progress into a future finance leadership role
