Senior Management Accountant
£80k - £85k + benefits
London (hybrid – 1 day on site)

This opportunity sits within the Group Finance team and reports into the Deputy Financial Controller. The role will play a key part in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, driving process improvements, and partnering with operational teams across multiple jurisdictions. It will suit a technically strong, qualified accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contributing to best-in-class finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Focusing on accruals management, including reviewing balance sheet accruals, performing system reconciliations on pulled data, and handling foreign exchange (FX) and currency conversions.
- Analysing Profit & Loss (P&L) performance, cost trends, and variances to explain month-on-month changes.
- Collaborating closely with Deputy Financial Controllers and the Accounts Payable (AP) team to gather data and verify numbers.
- Taking ownership of two smaller Group audits, managing timelines and requirements.
- Assisting with broader month-end close activities and financial reporting tasks.
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial postings.
- Implementing process improvements and internal controls to streamline workflows and enhance financial operations.
- Responding to external audit requests and supporting the wider year-end audit process.
- Collaborating closely with international operational teams to ensure alignment of transactional data and cost allocations.

The Candidate
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
- Previous experience of managing an audit process end-to-end.
- Demonstrated experience in automation, process improvement, and strengthening financial controls.
- Experience working with major ERP systems and extracting/reconciling data from financial platforms.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience within a high-growth technology or regulated financial services environment would be advantageous.
