Senior Management Accountant
Salary: £65,000 DOE
Location: London
Hybrid working
An established insurance business is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their Finance team, supporting financial management across the organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you’ll take ownership of expense management, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and Accounts Payable, while supporting strong financial controls and business decision-making.

- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual expense reporting.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting across the business.
- Analyse variances, trends, risks and opportunities.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and support process improvements.
- Manage accruals, prepayments, recharges and cost allocations.
- Support month-end and quarter-end financial close.
- Complete Group reporting through Tagetik.
- Reconcile bank and General Ledger accounts.
- Support financial controls and statutory reporting.
- Provide guidance to junior finance team members.

About you:
- Degree educated with ACCA/CIMA part-qualified desirable.
- Experience in management accounts and expense reporting.
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
- SAP experience desirable.
- Excellent organisation, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Confident working with and challenging senior stakeholders.
