About the Role

Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting business performance, and driving month-end excellence across the organisation.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE - CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED ON A SHORT NOTICE

Key Duties

  • Take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely production of management accounts.
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, depreciation, payroll, and intercompany entries.
  • Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Produce variance analysis and provide commentary on key financial movements.
  • Support multi-entity reporting, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Manage foreign currency accounting, including revaluations and FX adjustments.
  • Assist with the preparation of group reporting packs for senior management.
  • Support project accounting activities, ensuring revenue, costs, and WIP are accurately reported.

  • Assist with audit requests, compliance reporting, and maintenance of strong financial controls.
  • Provide support to the wider finance team and help address reporting backlogs or process improvements as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
