Senior Management Accountant | Derby | Hybrid Available | £60k

Are you a qualified accountant looking for a role that combines technical excellence, commercial exposure and leadership responsibility?

Whether you are an established management accountant in industry or a first time mover from practice, this could be the role for you.

Our client is a rapidly growing and dynamic business with ambitious plans for the future. As they continue to expand, they are looking to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team in Derby.

You'll be joining a finance team at an exciting stage of its evolution. As the business continues to scale, finance plays a critical role in supporting operational performance, influencing decision-making and driving continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to become a key part of that journey, taking ownership, developing others and helping shape a finance function built for future growth.

The Role

As Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, providing commercial insight and supporting the ongoing development of the finance team.

You will take ownership of a portfolio of management accounts, work closely with operational stakeholders and help ensure the finance function continues to deliver accurate, timely and meaningful information to support business performance. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you'll contribute to process improvements, support junior colleagues and act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
