With continued investment, expansion, and innovation, they are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their established finance team and play a key role in supporting strategic growth.

Your New Role

As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts, providing insightful financial analysis and supporting key business decisions. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
  • Supporting the preparation of statutory financial statements and year-end processes
  • Liaising with external auditors and assisting with audit requirements
  • Analysing financial performance and delivering meaningful management information
  • Preparing VAT returns, accruals, prepayments, journals, and statutory returns
  • Assisting with forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities
  • Supporting ERP system implementation projects
  • Contributing to grant funding applications and wider business initiatives
  • Reviewing purchase orders and ensuring financial controls are maintained

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience preparing management accounts
  • Experience working with external auditors and year-end processes
  • Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong system knowledge
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Desirable experience includes:

  • Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant status
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or highly regulated environment
  • Multi-entity or group accounting experience
  • Exposure to ERP systems such as Sage or SAP
