About the Role

We're seeking a commercially focused Senior Divisional Management Accountant to act as the lead financial partner for a key operational division within a national business.

This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders across operations and sales to drive business performance through accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and forward-looking financial planning.

If you thrive on influencing decisions, challenging performance, and adding real commercial value, this opportunity offers significant impact and exposure.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for your division
  • Own delivery of weekly and monthly P&L reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
  • Provide insightful performance analysis, highlighting key variances vs budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Identify risks and opportunities, supporting operational improvements and cost control
  • Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making
  • Prepare accruals and prepayments as part of month-end responsibilities
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
  • Travel to sites nationally to support and upskill non-finance stakeholders

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
