About the Role

Our client is an amazing PE backed multi site retail business based by Chipping Norton. They have sites in UK and one in Europe and looking for an ambitious candidate for a new created role who can have ownership, create new processes, and provide meaningful insight to impact strategy with Senior leaders

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will produce full sets of Management Accounts for the different entities, then own the budgeting, forecasting and business partnering with senior leaders to give strategic insight. You can have a real impact here both in improving reporting, but also when engaging with senior leaders.

Initially it's predominately reporting based and look at making month end better, but then will be much more of a business partner role with less reporting.

  • i.e 70/30 Reporting initially, then switch to a more commercial Management accountant role other way.
  • This more commercial role is key as they want someone to have impact

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
