Senior Management Accountant (12 month FTC)
Our client is a leading UK-based services organisation operating within a specialist sector.
The Role
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join the central finance team. This role will support the production of accurate and timely financial and management reporting, maintain the integrity of financial data, and provide meaningful analysis to aid business decision-making.
The successful candidate will play a key role in month-end reporting, financial controls, budgeting and forecasting activities, while also managing and developing junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reporting across multiple entities.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Support month-end, year-end, budgeting, forecasting and audit processes.
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate, compliant and delivered on time.
- Maintain strong financial controls and support continuous process improvements.
- Manage and develop junior team members, reviewing work and providing guidance.

Skills & Experience
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified, or equivalent experience.
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting background.
- Experience with reconciliations, month-end close and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/reporting systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
