The role
An Qualified Accountant with 5 years plus of experience is needed to join our team at bigspark on a fully remote basis. This role will manage bigsparks monthly accounting and provide accurate reporting to the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Month end financial reporting
- Full monthly management accounts & KPI pack
- Responsible for the balance sheet and P&L
- Maintaining all ledgers
- Cash flow management
- Annual budgets and monthly forecasts
- Overseeing AP & AR
- Overseeing the monthly sales invoices to ensure they are accurate and timely
- Year end accounts and VAT reporting
- Inter-company transactions
- Group reporting across different jurisdictions
- Constantly looking to make efficiencies and automate processes where possible
- Continually drive and improve reporting, processes and systems, promoting an analytical and detailed approach
Required Experience:
- Full professional accountancy qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Minimum 5 years experience in management accounts and forecasting
- Solid understanding of the balance sheet and reconciliations
- Experience in cashflow management
- Self-starter, who can pick up tasks quickly and understand the bigger picture
- Commercial understanding and business acumen
- Advanced working knowledge of Google Suite and advanced Excel
- Advanced working knowledge of Xero
- Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines and support the business within a busy environment
