Senior Management Accountant | Permanent | Consumer/Tech | £65,000–£70,000 + 10% Bonus + Benefits | Central London | Hybrid (2 days a week in office)
A Management Accountant is required for a fast-growth consumer tech business, this is a permanent opportunity with strong progression, offering a realistic step up to Finance Manager within 6–12 months for the right candidate. The business is currently going through an exit process, making this an exciting time to join.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the management accounts for the business, working closely with the wider finance team and senior stakeholders, including the business's 2nd-in-command.

Responsibilities
- Managing month-end close, management accounts reporting, and board reporting
- Ownership of control elements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Overseeing all commission plans for the business, partnering with senior sales stakeholders to review which is a key part of this role
- Working alongside the commercial team, with exposure to budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting the business's drive to automate manual finance tasks (e.g. prepayment schedules, transactional processes) using AI
- Handling revenue recognition, supported by largely automated systems
Skill Set Required
The successful candidate will be qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), with newly qualified candidates and those a few years post-qualification both encouraged to apply. Previous ownership of management accounts is essential. Experience in a fast-paced environment such as PE-backed or tech background is favoured. Prior exposure to commission structures is highly desirable but not essential.
