A leading Consultancy is looking for experienced Data & AI leaders to join its Financial Services practice, working at the forefront of modern data, AI and enterprise transformation.

This is a senior programme leadership role for someone who combines technical depth, consulting expertise and commercial acumen. The successful candidate will lead complex, multi-workstream Data & AI programmes for major Financial Services clients, owning client relationships, delivery, teams and commercial outcomes.

The role

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead complex enterprise Data & AI programmes from strategy through to production.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Shape AI strategies, investment cases, roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead teams of consultants, engineers and architects.
  • Provide technical direction across data platforms, AI, GenAI, semantic architectures and agentic solutions.
  • Ensure AI solutions are secure, governed, reliable and suitable for production.
  • Navigate Financial Services regulatory and risk requirements.
  • Lead proposals, RFPs, bids, client pitches and proposition development.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and the growth of the Data & AI consulting practice.

What they're looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-workstream Data or AI programmes.
  • Experience taking AI or advanced analytics solutions into production.
  • Strong Financial Services experience across banking, insurance or capital markets.
  • Technical credibility across data engineering, data platforms, ML or Generative AI.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing technical/consulting teams.
  • Strong consulting and commercial experience, including business development and selling work.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and presenting at governance/board level.

Desirable

Experience with Databricks, Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, semantic layers, data products, agentic AI architectures and responsible AI in production would be highly beneficial.

This is an opportunity for a senior Data & AI professional to play a key role in shaping enterprise AI transformation within Financial Services, while contributing to the continued growth of a leading consulting practice.
