Role Description

The Senior Manager role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Swansea, with flexibility for some work from home. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing mortgage and insurance advisory activities, and ensuring service quality and regulatory compliance. The Senior Manager will lead and support a team, provide guidance on complex client cases, and coordinate workflows to meet performance and customer satisfaction targets. This role includes developing and refining processes, maintaining strong relationships with key partners and lenders, and contributing to business development initiatives. The Senior Manager will also monitor industry trends, support training and coaching, and help shape strategic priorities for sustainable growth.

  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, including team coaching, performance oversight, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Solid experience in mortgage and/or insurance advisory, with strong knowledge of products, underwriting practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to manage multiple cases, interpret data, and improve processes.
  • Proficiency with common office software and CRM or case management systems used in financial services settings.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in mortgage advice or insurance (e.g., CeMAP or equivalent) are highly beneficial.
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role within financial services is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing on-site collaboration in Swansea with productive remote work.
