Location: London

Level: Senior Manager

Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits

Miryco Consultants is working with a leading global management consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Manager to join its specialist Actuarial Lloyd's/GI practice.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified actuary with strong capital experience to take the next step in their career, with significant responsibility across client delivery, project management and the continued development of the proposition.

The role would be particularly well suited to an experienced Big 4 Manager who is ready to step into a Senior Manager position, taking on greater ownership, senior client exposure and increased commercial responsibility.

The Opportunity

You will work with leading Lloyd's and GI clients, providing actuarial advice across a range of strategic and technical areas.

A key focus of the role will be Capital, alongside managing multiple projects and senior client relationships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead delivery of actuarial and strategic projects for major Lloyd's and GI clients.
  • Provide specialist advice across capital, solvency, risk and financial modelling.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective prioritisation.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead project teams, providing direction, coaching and technical oversight to junior and mid-level colleagues.
  • Support the development of proposals, new business opportunities and client relationships.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the firm's Actuarial Lloyd's and GI proposition.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex actuarial and business problems.
  • Present analysis, recommendations and strategic insight to senior client stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior leadership across the wider actuarial and consulting business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
