The Role
The Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics, AI & Digital Solutions is responsible for leading delivery of the Digital Foundry portfolio and ensuring AI, modelling, optimisation, and digital solutions are successfully translated from strategy into measurable business outcomes.
Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain AI Solutions, the role acts as the delivery leader for Digital Foundry initiatives, converting portfolio priorities into executable roadmaps, coordinating multidisciplinary delivery teams, and ensuring successful deployment, adoption, and value realisation across the portfolio.
The successful candidate will combine strong business understanding, technical credibility, product delivery expertise, and people leadership capabilities to drive execution of high-value digital solutions across Quality and Supply Chain.
What You'll Do
Lead Solution Delivery
- Lead coordinated execution and delivery of approved Digital Foundry initiatives from solution concept through development, deployment, adoption, and benefits realisation.
- Translate portfolio priorities and value objectives into executable product roadmaps, delivery plans, release schedules, and resource requirements.
- Manage multiple initiatives across the Digital Foundry portfolio.
- Ensure delivery milestones, outcomes, benefits, and adoption targets are achieved.
- Remove delivery barriers and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalations across initiatives.
Product & Portfolio Management
- Lead product planning, backlog management, prioritisation, and release planning across the portfolio.
- Oversee delivery execution from initiation through deployment and operational adoption.
- Ensure alignment between business priorities, technical delivery activities, and value-realisation objectives.
- Support portfolio governance, delivery reporting, and benefits-tracking activities.
- Balance competing priorities, resources, and delivery capacity to maximise overall portfolio value.

Technical Leadership
- Provide technical and product delivery leadership across AI, optimisation, modelling, simulation, analytics, and digital solutions.
- Direct and oversee development activities delivered by Digital Foundry teams.
- Review solution approaches and ensure alignment with architecture, standards, quality expectations, scalability requirements, and business objectives.
- Promote reusable solutions, delivery best practices, and technical excellence.
- Ensure effective application of machine learning, optimisation, simulation, generative AI, and emerging digital capabilities.
Business Partnership
- Partner with business leaders and the Director, Supply Chain AI Solutions to refine priority opportunities into clearly defined use cases, delivery requirements, and measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, solution planning activities, and delivery reviews.
- Communicate delivery progress, value, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Support successful adoption and business integration of Digital Foundry solutions.
- Ensure stakeholders remain aligned on scope, priorities, benefits, and delivery expectations.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop technical team members across analytics, AI, modelling, and digital solution disciplines.
- Set objectives, manage performance, develop capability, and build succession pipelines across the Digital Foundry team.
- Build capability in digital product delivery, technical leadership, and solution execution.
- Plan and deploy internal and external delivery capacity across the portfolio.
- Balance specialist capability requirements with business priorities and delivery commitments.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and high-performance team behaviours.

Qualifications & Skills
Essential
- Significant experience delivering analytics, AI, modelling, optimisation, digital transformation, or technology-enabled business solutions.
- Proven experience leading a portfolio of concurrent analytics, AI, modelling, or digital-product initiatives from planning through deployment and adoption.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing, operations, quality, or related business domains.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary technical and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Experience establishing product roadmaps, prioritised backlogs, release plans, and measurable delivery outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities and value objectives into executable delivery plans.
- Experience managing delivery dependencies, risks, resources, and competing priorities.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
- Experience working within agile or product-centric delivery environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience with modern analytics, AI, modelling, optimisation, or cloud-based technology platforms.

Preferred
- Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Operations Research, or related discipline.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in consumer healthcare, FMCG, manufacturing, or complex supply chain environments.
