We are seeking a motivated and innovative AI Fluency Senior Manager to drive the firm's AI adoption and engagement strategy. This pivotal role involves enabling widespread AI proficiency across our teams and tools. You will be responsible for creating and contributing to the development of comprehensive AI support and learning programmes to upskill colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the Growth Lead to execute Deloitte’s AI adoption strategy, creating skills-based learning journeys across a wide range of fluency levels
  • Drive firmwide AI Fluency through an established curriculum, with guidance of the Growth Curriculum Lead.
  • Develop comprehensive plans for learning programmes, aligning with organisational priorities in a fast-changing environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership and practice areas to identify specific AI skill gaps and tailor learning interventions accordingly.
  • Work with market leading suppliers and internal design teams to design, develop, and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences focused on critical Technology & Data capabilities.
  • Facilitating dynamic team fluency sessions to improve business productivity.
  • Creating and collating relevant use cases that support embedding learning.
  • Research and stay abreast of emerging Technology & Data learning technologies and trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Working closely with business SMEs to ensure that learning programmes are tailored, best in class and relevant for colleagues.
  • Working with business teams to enable AI-enabled workflows and reimagine the future. Fostering a culture of experimentation and supporting the Business through transitions in ways of working
  • Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies, trends, and ethical considerations, integrating relevant insights into the fluency curriculum and firm-wide strategy.
  • Champion the development of an internal AI community of practice, fostering knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning across the Firm.
  • Contribute to the firm's overall AI strategy, ensuring that fluency initiatives align with broader business objectives and innovation goals.
  • Supporting the tracking of metrics to measure and report on fluency progress, ensuring our practitioners are at the forefront of AI innovation.
  • Utilise dashboards to track and analyse learner engagement, programme impact and performance data to measure the effectiveness of Technology & Data learning programmes and identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, influencing, and collaboration skills, enabling them to effectively engage with senior stakeholders across diverse teams. They will demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen, coupled with robust problem-solving and risk management capabilities., allowing them to navigate complex challenges and manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously within a dynamic, potentially matrixed, environment. A proven ability to drive strategy implementation and uphold governance standards is also crucial.

Essential:

  • Deep Understanding of AI Concepts: While not necessarily a data scientist, you must possess a strong foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and their practical applications and limitations. This includes familiarity with common AI tools and platforms.
  • Learning & Development Expertise: Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering effective adult learning programmes, particularly in technology or complex subject matters. This includes knowledge of instructional design principles, curriculum development, and various learning methodologies (e.g., workshops, e-learning, blended learning).
  • Facilitation and Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to facilitate engaging sessions, articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences, and communicate effectively across all levels of the firm, from junior staff to senior leadership.
  • Change Management & Adoption: Demonstrated experience in driving organisational change and fostering the adoption of new technologies and ways of working within a large, complex professional services environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, subject matter experts, and technical teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, define clear objectives, track progress, measure impact, and deliver high-quality outcomes within established timelines.
  • Commercial Acumen: An understanding of how AI can create value for Deloitte's clients and internal operations, enabling them to tailor fluency programmes to practical, business-relevant use cases.
  • Ethical AI Awareness: A solid grasp of the ethical considerations, risks, and responsible deployment principles associated with AI technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of how learning in technology, data, and AI contributes to business value
