Accenture is a leading global professional services company, providing a broad range of services in strategy and consulting, interactive, technology and operations, with digital capabilities across all of these services. With our thought leadership and culture of innovation, we apply industry expertise, diverse skill sets and next-generation technology to each business challenge.
We are recruiting for an experienced and dynamic technologist to join the Insurance Architecture team within Accenture’s UK Insurance & Financial Services Industry and Enterprise practice, helping to grow and develop our digital architecture capability.
“Across the globe, one thing is universally true of the people of Accenture: We care deeply about what we do and the impact we have with our clients and with the communities in which we work and live. It is personal to all of us.” – Julie Sweet, Accenture CEO
As a team:
Insurance Architecture is the dedicated digital architecture and technology team within Accenture’s UK Insurance & Financial Services Industry and Enterprise practice. We act as the “Office of the CTO” for our clients: a small, high-impact group of senior architects and technologists who shape and assure complex digital change for some of the UK’s leading insurers, life offices, wealth managers and platform providers.
Our work spans General Insurance, Life, Pensions & Investments, London Markets, Capital Markets and the wider Financial Services market, with rapidly growing focus on AI, GenAI and agentic solutions applied across the insurance and financial services value chain.
We organise ourselves around capability groups – covering Solution Architecture; Enterprise Architecture & System Design; ML, AI & GenAI; Data Architecture; Cyber Security; and Cloud & Infrastructure. These groups operate as craft circles: places where members deepen their expertise, share knowledge, develop our collective point of view, and back each other up on client engagements. Each of us develops depth in one or more areas while remaining versatile across the rest, so we can flex quickly onto client work with both depth and resilience.
We were recently recognised by the Financial Times as one of the UK’s leading Management Consultants in Insurance.
In our team you will drive:
- The invention and provision of solutions to real-world problems across our Insurance and Financial Services clients, leveraging the latest technologies including GenAI and agentic AI.
- Origination, growth and stewardship of deep client relationships with senior stakeholders – including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and CISOs – bringing together the wider Accenture business (Industry and Enterprise, Technology, Song, Operations) to create differentiated offerings.
- The shaping and delivery of complex digital architecture and technology engagements across a wide breadth of insurance and financial services clients.
- Tangible, transformational change for clients, providing expert thought leadership gained from your deep technical and industry knowledge.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
