Senior Manager - AI/ML Engineering
Location: London (Hybrid) - 1 day p/w in the office
Salary: up to circa £140k + Guaranteed Profit Share
We're supporting a leading consulting firm as they continue to invest heavily in one of the fastest-growing areas of their business, AI.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with significant backing from senior leadership, helping to shape and grow a high-performing AI Engineering practice delivering impactful work across Financial Services, Government, Consumer, and Energy sectors.
The Role
As a Senior Manager, you'll play a key role in leading AI transformation programmes for clients, combining deep technical expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills.

You'll be responsible for:
- Leading teams
- Delivering complex AI solutions
- Helping clients unlock value from emerging technologies including GenAI and Agentic AI
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of large-scale AI and ML engineering programmes
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
- Lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams
- Drive solution design across GenAI, LLM, RAG, and Agentic AI use cases
- Support business development and contribute to the sales lifecycle
- Help shape the future direction of a rapidly growing AI practice

What They're Looking For
- 8+ years' experience within AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science
- Consulting experience from firms such as Accenture, Capgemini, EPAM, Big 4, or similar
- Strong experience delivering client-facing technology programmes
- Deep expertise across AI Engineering, ML Engineering, and GenAI
- Experience with LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions
- Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Previous team leadership or people management experience
- Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
