Senior Analytics Manager - Pricing and Promotions (FTC)

London - hybrid - 2x per week

Up to £85,000

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a newly created analytics capability within a major consumer-facing organisation undergoing significant investment in data and decision-making. You will combine strategic leadership, advanced analytics, and commercial influence to shape how pricing, promotions, range planning, and trading decisions are made across the business.

The Company

They are a well-established retail organisation with a large national presence, a significant customer base, and a growing focus on data-driven decision making. As part of ongoing investment in analytics, they are building a dedicated team focused on Price & Promotions analytics.

The organisation is creating stronger links between commercial, digital, and operational teams to ensure decisions are informed by customer behaviour, market conditions, and trading performance. This is a highly visible area of the business with strong executive sponsorship and clear opportunities to make a measurable impact.

The Role

As a Senior Analytics Manager, you will lead the development of a new analytics function focused on supporting some of the organisation's most commercially important decisions.

You will:

  • Develop and deliver the analytics strategy and roadmap for pricing, promotions, range, space, and trading analytics
  • Lead the creation of modelling frameworks to support commercial decision making
  • Deliver actionable insights that improve revenue, margin, stock productivity, and customer outcomes
  • Influence pricing, promotional, range, and store portfolio decisions across the business
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques including forecasting, optimisation, predictive modelling, and elasticity analysis
  • Act as the senior analytics partner to stakeholders across commercial, retail, finance, and operational teams
  • Establish best practice across analytical methodologies, governance, and delivery
  • Build and develop analytical capability while helping shape a newly established function

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial analytics experience within retail, fashion, eCommerce, or another high-volume consumer environment
  • Proven experience working on pricing and promotions analytics
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI
  • Exposure to Python or other analytical programming languages
  • Strong capability in forecasting, optimisation, commercial modelling, and analytical experimentation
  • Deep understanding of retail commercial drivers, including pricing, promotions, margin, demand forecasting, ranging, and stock productivity
  • Experience managing, coaching, or building analytics teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders
