The Job’s Mission:
As Senior Manager Brand Marketing, you are the EMEA-wide leader of our Sports Medicine Business. You will lead, develop, and inspire a team of seasoned professionals in Brand, Product Management, and Sales Enablement – as well as set strategic direction towards market share growth through the formulation and execution of effective marketing plans.

What you will do:
- In your new role, you will start with a familiarization phase to learn about our portfolio and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of approximately 4 direct reports and 9 indirect reports, fostering a growth-oriented environment and coaching your team to reach their full potential.
- In alignment with global strategy and in collaboration with internal stakeholders, define and execute the annual and long-range marketing strategy/plan for our EMEA Sports Medicine business, ensuring the organization meets growth, profitability, and market-share goals.
- Collaborate closely with EMEA sales leadership to align marketing and commercial priorities, driving market growth.
- Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, institutions, key customers, etc. generating strategic insights and deep understanding of customer needs.
- Lead and oversee EMEA strategies for market access, government affairs, and health-economics initiatives, collaborating closely with key stakeholders to deliver business-enabling solutions for the sales organization.
- Define and execute regional product life cycles, including launch and phase-out of products.
- Partner with divisional resources to develop portfolio through new product development, line extensions, and M&A activity.
- Lead the commercialization planning of new product development in partnership with Portfolio teams.
- Manage branding, messaging, positioning, and pricing of assigned brands based on market, customer, and competitive insights.
- Identify education and brand experience opportunities for both internal and external audiences to increase brand perception and value in collaboration with Education Manager.
- In partnership with Education Manager, create EMEA-wide, scalable, customer engagement events such as facility tours/events/congresses, hands-on opportunities, etc.
- Take the lead in developing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for the brand.
- Collaborate with the Global Marketing team including upstream and downstream marketing projects.
- Develop/refine metrics to evaluate the impact of marketing efforts on customer engagement and build deep P&L expertise to understand and influence the financial performance of the Sports Medicine business in EMEA.
- Provide analysis of business performance, brand perception, and other drivers of future brand performance. Define mitigating actions to deliver on strategy.
- Identify opportunities and influence cross-regionally and cross-divisionally to drive growth and deliver enhanced customer value for our business.

What you need:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 10+ years of work experience is required, of which a significant portion is in fields such as international Marketing, Product/Brand Management, etc., within industries such as MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or related.
- Experience in managing or coaching/mentoring teams is required (4+ years is preferred).
- Ability to accurately and effectively lead/manage (marketing) projects to ensure timely outcomes, business performance, and growth.
- Excellent interpersonal communications, persuasion, and presentation skills – with proficiency in spoken and written English.
- You are a sophisticated collaborator and networker capable of leveraging these strengths and relationships effectively within a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to stakeholders and customers from different markets and cultures.
- Strong strategic-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
- Impeccable work ethics & integrity in managing confidential information.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
- Travel percentage: up to 40%.

- Orthopaedics experience is not mandatory, but it would be an advantage.
- MBA is preferred.

Netherlands Pay Ranges:
Netherlands: €83.100 - €154.400 EUR Annual
Spain Pay Ranges:
Spain: €75.300 - €125.500 EUR Annual
United Kingdom Pay Ranges:
United Kingdom: £80,200 - £133,800 GBP Annual
Italy Pay Ranges:
Italy: €77.800 - €129.700 EUR Annual
