JOB TITLE: Senior Manager Business Development - Embedded Finance
SALARY: £78,098 - £109,060
LOCATION: London, Chester, Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN:

About this opportunity
This is an opportunity to help shape one of the most exciting growth areas within Lloyds Banking Group. Embedded Finance is transforming how customers access financial services, and we're investing in building new partnerships, propositions and customer experiences that bring finance seamlessly into everyday journeys. As a Business Development Senior Manager, you'll play a leading role in identifying, securing and growing strategic partnerships, helping us scale our Embedded Finance proposition across new sectors and customer segments.
Working at the forefront of commercial growth, you'll influence strategy, develop new market opportunities and help shape the future direction of a rapidly expanding business. You'll build and manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities, working closely with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Risk and Finance teams to bring new propositions to market and deliver sustainable growth.

You'll take partnerships from opportunity through to launch and commercial success, supporting commercial negotiations, onboarding activities and ongoing relationship development. Alongside this, you'll lead and develop a high-performing team, creating an environment where colleagues are empowered to deliver great outcomes, continually develop and achieve their full potential.
This role offers significant visibility and influence within a strategic growth area, providing an opportunity to make a tangible impact whilst building your career within one of the UK's largest financial services organisations.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years experience in sales, business development and merchant acquisition, with experience across transport or adjacent sectors welcomed.
- 5+ years' experience building and managing senior stakeholder and partner relationships in a commercial environment.
- Proven experience acquiring, growing and managing commercial partnerships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience developing commercial propositions, bids, partnership opportunities or go-to-market strategies.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, influence decisions and drive growth.
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
And any experience of this would be great
- Experience within Embedded Finance, fintech, payments or platform-based financial services.
- Experience across transport, mobility, automotive, lifestyle, home or adjacent partnership-led sectors.
- Experience launching new propositions, products or commercial partnerships.
- Experience supporting product integrations or partner onboarding activities.
