We are currently seeking several experienced professionals to join our team in the role of Senior Manager Business Partner within one of these three areas: Finance COO, FP&A or IWPB. These roles report into the Global Finance COO function and will be important in driving Finance operating model design and delivery for the function.
These roles will offer strong “change & insight” opportunities where you’ll help shape and deliver Finance’s operating model, drive the simplification agenda across functions and project teams, and provide sharp cost and performance insight (actuals/forecast review, challenge and operational commentary) that influences decisions. These roles will also offer a broad, high-exposure opportunity partnering with senior stakeholders and delivery leads to embed operating model and control design principles, using data to generate insights beyond existing MIS, and supporting key strategic initiatives (location strategy, business continuity, target operating models and business plans). If you like pace and impact, you’ll also get hands-on programme delivery experience planning milestones and dependencies, tracking opex/capex against business cases, managing risks/issues, and identifying scalable opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and enhance user/client experience.

In this role you will:
- Drive Finance operating model design and delivery as part of the Finance COO function, helping embed new ways of working across the function
- Provide cost and performance insight (actuals and forecast review, challenge, and management/operational commentary) to support decision-making
- Support Finance simplification by working with functional and project delivery leads to streamline processes and avoid duplication in data collation/analysis
- Deliver analysis for key COO initiatives such as location and operating model strategy, business continuity, and Target Operating Models/business plans/strategies
- Run disciplined change delivery and build delivery plans (milestones, dependencies, scope, resourcing, budget), track opex/capex vs business case, manage risks/issues, and identify scalable opportunities to reduce cost/improve efficiency and client/user experience
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrable business partnering experience within a Finance function
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Understanding of project management methodology plus hands-on experience in managing change and implementation
- Experience in COO-related operational activities and demonstrable experience implementing a strong controls culture within a finance function
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry and the accounting/regulatory rules governing the Group
- Extensive experience working in a global team and handling ad hoc deliverables, including programme/project management with risks & issues management
