About the Role

As a Senior Manager – Business Planning and Performance, you'll play a key role in providing the performance insight and forecasting that supports strategic decision-making across Homes England. Working at programme and portfolio level, you'll lead the production of high-quality reporting, forecasts and management information that enable senior leaders to monitor performance, manage risk and make informed investment decisions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insight. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to improve data quality, strengthen forecasting, drive continuous improvement and embed a culture of performance and accountability. You'll also lead the development of engaging Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that help bring data to life and support decision-making at every level.

About You

We're looking for an experienced performance reporting and analytics professional with advanced Power BI expertise and a passion for using data to influence business decisions. You'll have a proven track record of designing, developing and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports and data visualisations, using Power BI, DAX and data modelling techniques to transform complex information into clear, actionable insight.

You'll be confident working with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating requirements into impactful reporting solutions that improve performance and support strategic objectives. Experience integrating Power BI with SQL-based data sources, alongside a strong understanding of reporting governance, data quality and best practice visualisation principles, is essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
