We’re BDO. An accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today’s changing world.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Restructuring team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team that delivers a wide variety of insolvency and advisory assignments. The successful candidate will proactively manage a portfolio of projects of varying size and complexity, taking ownership of engagements with limited input from senior colleagues while also providing leadership, coaching, and development support to junior team members.

Reporting directly to Directors and Partners, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client service, developing technical expertise, and contributing to business development initiatives that support the continued growth of the practice.

About The Team

The Business Restructuring team advises businesses, lenders, investors, management teams, and other stakeholders on a broad range of restructuring and insolvency matters. Team members are exposed to a diverse mix of assignments across both formal insolvency appointments and advisory engagements, providing continuous opportunities to tackle unique and complex challenges.

The role requires a strong understanding of corporate insolvency procedures from appointment through to closure, with particular emphasis on:

  • Administrations, including pre-pack transactions
  • Creditors' Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs)
  • Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs)
  • Business and contingency planning
  • Options reviews
  • Financial modelling and forecasting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
