The Role
The Senior Manager, Global Capital and Site Indirect Procurement, part of the Global Direct Procurement organization, will be responsible for developing and implementing global facilities strategy to deliver Haleon’s Capital equipment goals & growth. This role will be responsible for global category sourcing of site Indirects spend. This role will also drive regional capital for one of the key regions
Additionally, the role:
- Partners with Global QSCP manufacturing excellence team, Sites and Supply Chain leaders to build and deliver a roadmap spanning across Operating Units that deliver on Haleon ambition for offering superior solutions and Haleon sustainability agenda.
- Develop and execute global strategy within area of responsibility.
- Develops business cases and get them endorsed by the OUs to implement such innovative solutions.
- Leads high value, long-term negotiations in areas of spend that impact the success or failure of a Haleon Business Unit within region.
In this role you will…
- Manage a spend of £200m for Capital equipment and Site Indirect spend across QSC Sites.
- Be responsible for implementation and execution Global Capital equipment strategy and it’s cascade to the OU.
- This role will need to work closely with the OU teams, to ensure that the roadmap accounts for regional and local market requirements.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans
- Generate value in terms of quality, delivery, and cost; contribute significantly to organization’s goals and objectives
- Experience delivering quality, compliant, timely, well-specified agreements to generate a clear return on investment for HALEON.
- Balancing both strategic and operational requirements. Any interruption of supply results in immediate and extended impact on HALEON revenue stream.
- Market knowledge of supplier capabilities (current and future) is required to acquire and maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage the development of a long-term vision for all owned categories to support the growth of HALEON. Ensure the approval of this long-term vision by local key stakeholders.
- Adapt and respond to regularly changing business requirements

Key Responsibilities
Strategy and execution
- Develop a sound understanding of facilities breakthrough solutions, market drivers and Haleon customer’s needs.
- Create & implement a comprehensive road map of activities for OU/Category in scope of responsibility, partnering with cross-functional team (R&D, Brands lead and OU teams, …).
- Build an education & communication process for OU procurement leads.
- Ensure global strategies reflect Haleon’s sustainability and diversity objectives.
- Drive and lead Global scope of categories in Capital equipment and Site Indirect spend.
Benefit delivery
- Deliver benefits identified in roadmaps & strategies through effective and collaborative strategy execution with the BUs, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
- Ensure financial and non-financial benefits are managed in accordance with the Procurement Plan (Savings Methodology approach, Innovation Net Sales KPI and Sustainability KPIs), ensuring Business Unit, Finance and Sustainability Team agreement to value delivered and transparency on treatment of benefits in the budgeting process.
Business partnering & stakeholder management in Haleon
- Influence key global and regional stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended strategies, support execution and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted.
External supplier relationships
- Support strategic relationships with global suppliers and lead processes to ensure the development of new technological solutions resulting from these partnerships.
- Build a strong network with external partners to bring new capabilities in.
- Ensure global and regional considerations are accounted for in supplier relationships.
- Manage the supply base for the categories within scope through a robust performance management process. Ensure supplier performance is understood and measured.

Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Level of Education Required: University Degree
Area of Specialization: Procurement, Business, Finance or Supply Chain
Why is it required? A university degree enables a better preparation and thinking to perform the activities in the role, which are related to solving complex problems and taking accurate and timely decisions.
Preferred Level of Education: Master’s Degree
Area of Specialization: Procurement, Business, Finance or Supply Chain
Why is it required? The role requires the ability to develop sophisticated commercial procurement strategies that align with the business’s needs. A strong understanding of business and financial analysis will facilitate success. Ability to communicate with senior Finance managers is required.
