Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A
As Senior Manager, Commercial FP&A, you'll lead NewDay's Commercial Financial Planning & Analysis capability, driving the shape our financial strategy and performance. Partnering closely with ExCo and Senior Leaders, you'll provide the insight, challenge and financial leadership that underpins key business decisions.
This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to influence investment priorities, growth initiatives and long-term strategy. You'll lead a high-performing FP&A team, best practices across planning and performance management, combining commercial insight, analytical rigour and stakeholder influence to drive meaningful outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across NewDay.
How you'll contribute
- Lead NewDay's budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and performance management processes, ensuring strong alignment between financial plans and business strategy.
- Partner with senior leaders across the organisation to provide commercial insight, challenge assumptions and support effective decision-making.
- Drive evaluation of strategic investments, partnership opportunities and growth initiatives, helping to maximise value and prioritise resources effectively.
- Develop and lead a high-performing FP&A team, encouraging a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance financial models, planning systems and management reporting to provide clear visibility of performance, key drivers, opportunities and risks.

We're looking for these essential skills
- The ability to lead financial planning, forecasting and performance management activities within a complex commercial environment.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn financial analysis into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience building positive relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions through insight, challenge and collaboration.
- The ability to lead, develop and empower high-performing teams while creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
It's a plus if you also have these skills
- Experience supporting senior leadership teams, executive committees or boards with strategic planning and performance reporting.
- Knowledge of financial services, consumer lending, payments or other regulated industries.
- Experience evaluating large-scale investment programmes, transformation initiatives or business growth opportunities.
- Experience working with enterprise planning and forecasting tools such as Anaplan.
- Strong understanding of capital allocation, portfolio management and value creation in a commercial environment.
