Senior Manager Continuity & Response
Salary Range: £85,493 - £100,580
Locations: Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester
Hours: Full time
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Job Description
As a Senior Manager Continuity & Response, you'll lead the development and enhancement of response and recovery capabilities across the organization, connecting resilience activity across technology, data, suppliers, operations, people, and property. You'll work with senior stakeholders to translate complex resilience challenges into practical, measurable actions that strengthen organizational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading response and recovery capability to ensure preparedness and effective recovery during disruption.
- Driving exercising, assurance, and continuous improvement activities to demonstrate resilience plans and capabilities work in practice.
- Developing and leading a specialist Business Continuity team, building capability and embedding future-focused ways of working.
- Using data, tooling, and automation to improve resilience insight, assurance, and decision-making.
- Connecting resilience activity across key enabling functions, helping drive a coordinated approach to operational resilience.
- Providing clear, effective guidance and challenge to senior leaders, executive forums, and regulatory stakeholders.

What You'll Need
- Experience delivering Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Crisis Management, or Recovery activities within a large, complex organization.
- Strong expertise in Business Continuity and response and recovery planning, with the ability to embed practical and measurable resilience outcomes.
- Experience leading teams, developing capability, and providing clarity through complex challenges.
- Ability to use data, tooling, and management information to support assurance, oversight, and informed decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior, executive, and regulatory audiences.
- Experience designing, delivering, or overseeing exercising, testing, and assurance activities that support continuous improvement.
And any experience of this would be really useful
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide exercising, crisis response, or recovery activity.
- Understanding of how cloud technology, artificial intelligence, data, and supplier networks are influencing resilience capabilities.
- Established external networks within Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Crisis Management, or Technology Resilience communities.
