From our inclusive leadership strategy to our diversity and inclusion targets – we are making bold changes to who we are and what we do. Be part of it.

Overview

This exciting role is within our Corporate Tax Advisory & Compliance (CTAC) team, based in our Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.

We’re looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager who is ready to lead client relationships, deliver impactful projects, be a hands-on leader within the team, and help drive innovation in a growing practice.

Why KPMG CTAC Scotland?

Our CTAC team is a core and growing part of KPMG’s Tax practice, driven by the increasing complexity and profile of tax.

You’ll join a high-performing team that thrives on collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. We foster a supportive culture where your contributions are valued, and collective success is celebrated.

You’ll work with a diverse mix of clients – from fast-growing PE-backed and owner-managed Scottish businesses through to UK-listed companies and multinational corporates investing in the UK.

Our client work is interesting and varied. You’ll have the opportunity to shape your portfolio and focus on areas that matter most to you, which may include:

  • Corporate tax compliance
  • Tax reporting and audit
  • BEPS Pillar 2 compliance and advisory
  • Complex UK and international tax advisory, such as tax structuring, refinancing, reorganisations and international expansion

The role could involve a blend of compliance, reporting and advisory; the balance can flex over time, reflecting your experience and development objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
