Senior Manager – Cost & Productivity Consulting
Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £100,000 - £115,000 + £6,000 car allowance + 20% bonus + Excellent Benefits
The Opportunity
We're working with a leading global consulting organisation looking to hire an experienced Senior Manager to join its growing Cost & Productivity practice, specialising in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector.
This is an opportunity to work with some of the world's leading software, media and technology organisations, helping them improve operational performance, reduce costs and drive sustainable business transformation. You'll lead high-profile client engagements, manage senior stakeholders and play a key role in developing the firm's growing cost optimisation capability.
If you enjoy combining commercial thinking, financial analysis and operational transformation to solve complex business challenges, this role offers excellent exposure to senior leadership, business development and large-scale transformation programmes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end cost optimisation and productivity improvement programmes across technology and media clients.
- Manage multiple consulting engagements simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery and commercial outcomes.
- Develop cost reduction strategies across areas including cloud, engineering, technology operations, procurement, marketing, content production and corporate functions.
- Analyse financial performance, build business cases and carry out scenario modelling to support strategic decision making.
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Technology, Product and Operations.
- Present recommendations and transformation roadmaps to executive leadership teams.
- Lead and mentor consulting teams while supporting the development of junior colleagues.
- Drive business development activity, contribute to proposals and help grow the Cost & Productivity practice.

What We're Looking For
- Around 8+ years' experience in consulting, operational improvement, cost optimisation, procurement or financial transformation.
- Strong understanding of cost drivers across Technology, Media or Telecommunications organisations.
- Experience delivering large-scale cost transformation or productivity improvement programmes.
- Excellent financial analysis and commercial modelling skills.
- Comfortable developing business cases, financial forecasts and executive-level presentations.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex client environments.
- Experience leading consulting teams and delivering multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong business development and client relationship management experience.
- Experience within software, SaaS, media, digital platforms or wider TMT organisations would be highly beneficial.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or MCIPS are advantageous but not essential.
