We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our Credit Insights team at NewDay

You’ll lead a small team of analysts, working cross-functionally with Credit Risk, Finance, Commercial and Operations. You’ll shape portfolio monitoring, forecasting, asset quality and management information, helping senior stakeholders make smarter commercial and risk-based decisions. If you enjoy getting beneath the numbers, spotting what’s changing and influencing what happens next, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact.

How you’ll contribute

  • Lead and develop a team of two analysts, setting analytical priorities, supporting their development and embedding a culture of high-quality, insight-led decision-making.
  • Deliver deep portfolio insight across asset quality, customer behaviour, vintages, trends and emerging risks, identifying the key drivers behind portfolio performance.
  • Shape portfolio monitoring and management information, including macroeconomic and bureau-based analysis, ensuring senior stakeholders have a clear view of performance and risk.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Credit Risk, Finance, Commercial and Operations to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations and influence strategic decisions.
  • Champion analytical best practice, data controls and the effective use of data, analytics and technology across complex initiatives, ensuring insight is delivered in a controlled and sustainable way.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
