The Opportunity
Postman is seeking a Senior Manager of Customer Success Engineering to lead the Customer Success Engineering (CSE) function globally in EMEA and APAC. This leadership role involves technology-driven customer success, requiring a proactive, strategy-focused partner to Shape multi-account focused technical engagement strategy, allocate CSE capacity, and drive execution with urgency and discipline across EMEA and APAC.
Customer Success Engineers in Postman focus on embedding Postman deeply into real engineering workflows, delivering value in areas such as:
- API design and governance
- CI/CD integration
- Developer platforms
- Modernization and migration
- Automation and quality enforcement
- Service discoverability
The Senior Manager role is not about general support or enablement but rather operationalizing Postman as critical API infrastructure—for customers and for Postman.
This highly cross-functional leadership position is critical to support International Sales, including:
- Prioritizing high-impact accounts
- Shaping technical engagement strategies
- Ensuring efficient CSE capacity allocation
- Optimizing retention and growth execution
Key responsibility: Scaling an existing motion, setting a new talent bar, driving operational clarity, and turning complex customer and GTM problems into measurable customer outcomes.
Responsibilities

Team Leadership
- Hire, leads, and develops Customer Success Engineers across EMEA & APAC, ensuring alignment around execution quality, accountability, and proactive ownership.
- Set clear expectations for performance, customer impact, and measurable ownership.

Sales & Account Strategy Partnership
- Act as the primary CS operating partner to International Sales leadership, jointly driving:
- Account prioritization
- Retention & expansion strategies
- Alignment of CSE/EM (Expert Morning / Engel) capacity with highest-impact opportunities

About You
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role such as:
- Forward Deployed Engineering, Customer Success, Technical Account Management (TAM), Solutions Engineering, Strategic Consulting, or similar
- Experience working as a CSE/EM overtime/late or in a comparable hands-on, post-sales capacity
- Technical fluency covering topics such as:
- API design, developer workflows, integrations, DevOps, CI/CD, modern software delivery practices
Preferred Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience leading high-performing post-sale or technical customer teams

Capacity to scale a CSE/TE model while raising talent standards and operational rigor

Experience working in a globally distributed team setting, particularly for EMEA / APAC implementations

Proven success driving adoption, retention, and technical implementation outcomes for complex enterprise accounts

Strong pattern recognition of proven retention and expansion mechanics

Experience and expertise in :
- EMEA and or APAC account managements
- Strategic partnership models, multi-account strategy such as pod-structural

Leadership in implementing:
- Scalable processes

- Capable of scaling execution discipline in a dynamic, evolving technical environment, while maintaining clarity in priorities and customer stakeholder dynamics
- Experience operating within enterprise pod-based account models and possesses high effectiveness in those settings
- Strong, global sales partnership orientation in structuring and aligning customer technical adoption efforts with sales goals
- High ownership mentality, bias to action, and relentless drive for product democratization
- Strong coaching, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills

Location Requirements
Postman prioritizes in-person collaboration. Employees based in San Francisco, Tokyo, London, Austin, or New York work 5 days per week in the office. Bangalore-based employees currently work 3 days per week in-office, with plans to transition to 5 days per week by the end of the year.
