Senior Manager, Data Center Facility Engineering
The Senior Manager, Data Center Facility Engineering leads the engineering, maintenance, and assists with commissioning to ensure operational readiness of critical data center infrastructure. This role is accountable for maintaining high availability across electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems; ensuring SLA performance; and driving rapid, disciplined resolution of infrastructure faults and incidents.
The Senior Manager provides strategic engineering leadership for maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, system enhancements, and operational improvement initiatives. They partner closely with design, construction, commissioning, facility engineering, data center operations, colo partners, and other stakeholders to safely integrate new systems into live environments while protecting reliability, capacity, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing critical infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Leading change management reviews for critical maintenance activities
- Ensuring work plans, risk assessments, method-of-procedure documentation, rollback plans, stakeholder communications, and execution controls protect data center availability
- Leading incident response and post-incident reviews
- Directing root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action plans
- Validating commissioning and design deliverables
- Overseeing site assessments and build activities
- Establishing consistent operational policies and procedures

The Senior Manager holds colo partners accountable to contractual requirements, leads multiple medium- to large-scale initiatives, removes operational blockers, aligns work to organizational priorities, and ensures compliance with Oracle safety standards, industry best practices, and business objectives.
As a people leader, the Senior Manager develops engineering capability through training, mentoring, drill programs, performance coaching, workforce planning, and talent development. The role fosters cross-functional collaboration, drives continuous improvement, and builds resilient, high-performing teams capable of supporting complex, global data center operations.
