Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL)
Resolve to Save Lives (RTSL) is a global health organization that partners locally and globally to create and scale solutions to the world’s deadliest health threats. Millions of people die from preventable health threats. We collaborate to close the gap between proven, life-saving solutions and the people who need them. Since 2017, we’ve worked with governments and other partners in more than 60 countries to save millions of lives. We work toward a future where people live longer, healthier lives, communities flourish, and economies thrive. This is an ambitious vision, and it inspires us and our partners to make progress every day.
Position Purpose
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Senior Manager, Development owns and grows a portfolio of foundation and philanthropic funders and prospects. The Senior Manager will deepen existing relationships and bring new funders to the organization. The role combines relationship management, business development, proposal leadership, and cross-functional coordination, working closely with program, finance, communications, and legal colleagues to translate RTSL’s priorities into compelling funding opportunities.
Core Duties and Responsibilities

- Serve as a key point of contact for assigned funders and prospects, building trusted relationships with program officers and other decision-makers at funding organizations.
- Research and qualify new funding prospects that fit RTSL's priorities and move them into the pipeline.
- Monitor portfolio performance and pipeline progress against annual revenue and relationship goals, adjusting engagement approaches as needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
