Your role

As a Senior Manager - Digital Transformation, your mission is to lead the successful delivery of strategic digital programmes and solutions across the global Service Technology Centre network. You will provide leadership, governance and digital expertise to improve productivity, eliminate non-value-added activities and strengthen digital capability across the organisation. You will report to the Head of Engineering and Innovation.

You will

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex digital projects and programmes, ensuring they meet agreed objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards.
  • Manage the global digital project portfolio, including project prioritisation, resource planning, approvals and progress reporting.
  • Establish and maintain consistent project, programme and change management standards, aligned with Agile principles and recognised methodologies.
  • Monitor performance, risks, issues, milestones and business benefits, providing clear reporting and appropriate escalation to senior stakeholders.
  • Lead and support regional and global teams, providing coaching, guidance and training to strengthen digital transformation capability.
  • Partner with operational, innovation and functional teams to identify challenges and develop practical digital and Industry 4.0 solutions.
  • Collaborate across VTBA, VTIS and Global IS to ensure solutions align with business priorities, technology architecture and data standards.
  • Develop implementation plans, documentation and training to support the successful rollout and adoption of new digital technologies.
  • Manage digital governance, risk and change control processes, ensuring decisions and changes are appropriately reviewed, documented and approved.
  • Promote a culture of digital adoption and continuous improvement across the STC network, sharing lessons learned and supporting operational excellence.

To succeed, you will need

  • You have at least five years’ experience leading complex, international digital projects or programmes, ideally within a global, matrix organisation.
  • Proven experience of delivering digital transformation projects from planning through to implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Strong knowledge of project and programme management, including experience using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • The ability to lead, coach and influence cross-functional teams, including colleagues outside your direct reporting line.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders across different regions and cultures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues, manage risks and communicate clear recommendations.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach, with the ability to build consensus and manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, digital governance or change management would be advantageous.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Global Technology Centre in Burgess Hill, United Kingdom (GB).
