Senior Manager / Director – Finance Due Diligence

Location: London / Hybrid

Employment: Permanent

Are you an accomplished Finance Due Diligence professional ready to take on a senior leadership role in a growing deals practice? We are looking for high-calibre Senior Managers and Directors with strong Transaction Services and FDD experience gained within a leading consulting, advisory or accounting firm.

This is an opportunity to apply your deal expertise in a broader consulting environment, advising private equity investors and corporate clients across acquisitions, disposals, carve-outs, integrations, value creation programmes and performance improvement initiatives. You will lead complex engagements, shape senior client relationships and help grow an ambitious Deal Advisory practice.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead financial due diligence engagements for private equity and corporate clients.
  • Analyse historical and forecast financial performance, including working capital, cash flow and key value drivers.
  • Deliver buy-side, sell-side, carve-out and integration assignments.
  • Identify value creation opportunities and advise on financial performance improvement.
  • Lead senior client interactions and present clear, commercially focused findings to investors, management teams and boards.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and maintain consistently high-quality delivery across concurrent engagements.
  • Contribute to origination, proposals and wider business development activity.
  • Build trusted relationships with private equity funds, corporate development teams and other senior stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues.
  • Play a leading role in the continued growth of the Deal Advisory practice.

  • A strong track record in Transaction Services or Finance Due Diligence within a Big Four firm or another leading advisory business.
  • Substantial experience of private equity and corporate transactions, ideally across both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
  • The credibility and communication skills to advise senior stakeholders and present complex findings with clarity.
  • Proven engagement leadership, team management and commercial judgment.
  • ACA qualification or an equivalent professional credential is preferred.
