Senior Manager, Endpoint Engineering & Architecture

The Senior Manager, Endpoint Engineering & Architecture is responsible for serving as the hands-on technical authority and strategic leader for the company’s global endpoint environment, defining architecture, governance, and engineering standards while driving the transition to a modern, Intune-first ecosystem. Partnering closely with Application Lifecycle Management leadership, this role balances strategic vision with operational execution, directly influencing platform design, service maturity, automation, security, and reliability across a global enterprise. Leading a team of engineers and building the foundation for future growth, the Senior Manager establishes scalable operating models, strengthens data governance and engineering excellence, and ensures endpoint services effectively support business transformation and a modern digital workplace.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Enterprise IT Service Operations and is part of the Information Technology organization and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Intune Platform Remediation & Future-State Strategy: Take full accountability for Microsoft Intune as our primary global management engine. Address existing operational gaps, enforce baseline policies, and achieve precise data accuracy across all corporate devices while positioning Intune over legacy SCCM footprint for future growth.
  • Mobile & BYOD Governance: Architect and manage enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) for all corporate-owned devices, while implementing robust Mobile Application Management (MAM) policies for Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) access.
  • Hands-On Leadership & Team Management: Directly lead a delivery team supporting global operations. Guide day-to-day operational execution, technical escalations, and sprint priorities, establishing the operational rigour required to scale the team over time.
  • Architecture & OpCo Migration: Design scalable blueprints for client management, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and macOS (migrating Mac endpoints natively into Intune). Guide distributed Operating Companies (OpCos) transitioning off legacy/third-party management into our central Intune environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
