Senior Manager - Enterprise Sales

Description

The Enterprise Sales Manager leads a team of Account Executives (AEs) to achieve revenue and margin goals, develop outcome-based business strategies, build strong client relationships, and guide the team to performance excellence. This role is responsible for driving pan-HP account growth, developing clear strategies for key accounts, and fostering a culture of talent and productivity. The Enterprise Sales Manager acts as a strategic leader, ensuring sales activities align with legal and ethical standards and HP’s values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of 7–10 Account Executives (AEs), providing coaching and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Sales Coverage: Develop and execute plans to meet sales and margin targets, allocate resources effectively, and tailor solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Account Planning: Create and implement best-in-class sales strategies for key accounts, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Solution Selling: Present products and services as solutions to customer challenges, focusing on value and outcomes.
  • Pipeline & Deal Management: Build and manage sales pipelines to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives. For long-term pipeline development and short-term goal achievement.
  • Executive Engagement: Develop relationships with senior client executives and represent HP at industry and customer events.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities meet legal and ethical standards.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Monitor forecasts and budgets, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, building recovery plans as needed.
  • People Development: Support the growth and development of team members, encouraging skill-building, and foster a culture of performance excellence.
  • Coaching & Performance Management: Support the growth and development of team members, encouraging skill-building.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Typically 10+ years of job-related experience or 8–10 years of experience in sales management.
  • Qualifications:
    • Proven success in sales management, ideally in enterprise environments.
    • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
    • Familiarity with sales planning, pipeline management, and CRM systems.

  • Problem Solving: Navigate market complexities and develop practical solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Build lasting executive relationships, interact with key stakeholders, and represent HP at industry events.
  • Technical Proficiency: Leverage technology and CRM systems to enhance productivity.
  • New Technology and AI: Demonstrated curiosity and confidence in adopting emerging tools and technologies—especially AI—to enhance sales performance, customer engagement, and productivity. The ability to quickly learn, adapt, and apply digital solutions in daily workflows, and to use AI insights to drive smarter decisions and more personalized customer interactions. Curiosity and adaptability in using new technologies, especially AI, to improve sales and customer engagement.
