Role Purpose
Responsible for translating our global priorities into executable plans and ensuring successful delivery across the organisation. The role provides leadership, governance and oversight of strategic initiatives, driving alignment between business objectives, investment decisions, operational execution and measurable outcomes. Working closely with senior executives and business leaders, the role ensures that strategic ambitions are converted into sustainable business results.

- Translate global priorities into clear implementation roadmaps, initiatives and delivery plans.
- Drive implementation of priority initiatives linked to growth, market leadership, talent and AI transformation, ensuring each initiative has defined scope, KPIs, milestones and success measures.
- Establish and maintain a strategic execution framework that enables consistent delivery across the organisation.

Portfolio and Investment Management
- Oversee the strategic portfolio of MD&I programmes and initiatives.
- Establish governance processes for evaluating, prioritising, funding and monitoring strategic investments.
- Monitor return on investment (ROI).
- Recommend adjustments to investment priorities based on performance and market conditions.
Executive Leadership and Governance
- Establish single-threaded ownership for strategic initiatives, ensuring each priority has a clear accountable executive and core delivery team.
- Lead governance that enforces strategic standards, guardrails and decision making, including where standardisation is mandatory and where local flexibility is permitted.
- Facilitate decision-making by presenting clear analysis and recommendations.
- Escalate critical issues and drive resolution across organisational boundaries.

Performance Management
- Define and track strategic KPIs, milestones and success measures.
- Develop executive dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility of strategic progress, investment usage and ROI, ensuring strategic reviews focus on measurable business outcomes rather than activity levels or effort-based reporting.
- Conduct regular reviews to assess progress and ensure delivery remains aligned to strategic objectives.
