About Gategroup

Gategroup is the world's largest provider of airline catering services. Operating across some of the most complex logistics environments in aviation, we serve everything from premium First Class dining experiences to high-volume Economy meals, all produced to exacting standards, every single day.

About the Role

As Senior Manager for Health, Safety & Environment, you will be at the forefront of everything we do to keep our people safe, our operations compliant, and our environmental commitments on track. This is a senior, highly visible role with genuine ownership, not a support function, but a driver of strategy and culture across our UK & Ireland operations.

Working closely with the Regional EHS Lead, unit managers, and executive stakeholders, you will design, implement, and continuously improve the infrastructure that underpins our safety and environmental performance. You will also play a central role in advancing our ESG commitments, leading sustainability initiatives, and carbon reduction programmes that align with gategroup's global objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

  • Drive the implementation of gategroup's global EHS strategy across UK&I operations
  • Partner with senior, operational, and support management on all key EHS decisions
  • Consult with senior leadership to set organizational goals, measurements, and improvement roadmaps
  • Lead and coordinate risk management activities, including risk assessments, control measures, and corrective action planning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
