We are partnering with a global organisation undergoing significant Finance Transformation to recruit a Finance Capability & Learning Manager.

This is a strategic role focused on developing the future capabilities of a large Finance function. Working within a Finance Academy environment, you will help define the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for success in a changing Finance organisation and design learning solutions that enable those capabilities at scale.

The successful candidate will combine Finance credibility with expertise in learning, capability development and transformation. You will work closely with Finance leaders and subject matter experts to understand how roles are evolving, identify capability gaps and build programmes that equip teams for the future.

This is not a traditional training role. It requires someone who can analyse complex Finance activities, understand the impact of organisational change and create development programmes that drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance leaders to understand current and future capability requirements across the Finance function.
  • Assess how roles, processes and ways of working are evolving as part of wider transformation initiatives.
  • Identify capability gaps and develop learning strategies to address them.
  • Design and implement learning pathways, development programmes and capability-building initiatives for Finance professionals.
  • Work with subject matter experts across Accounting, Tax and wider Finance disciplines to capture knowledge and translate it into practical learning solutions.
  • Build scalable programmes that support both foundational and advanced capability development.
  • Support the implementation of Finance capability frameworks and skills assessments.
  • Develop programmes focused on future Finance capabilities, including AI adoption, digital skills and new operating models.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions and leadership discussions where required.
  • Coach and support subject matter experts to effectively share knowledge and contribute to capability-building initiatives.
  • Measure programme effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
