What you will be doing
Ricoh are pleased to be recruiting for a new role which will lead financial planning, commercial finance and business performance management for GMA, driving delivery of annual revenue, growth and profitability targets. The role acts as senior Finance Business Partner to GMA Channel Sales VPs and RGS leadership, providing governance, commercial challenge and decision support across planning, forecasting, pipeline, revenue conversion and profitability. The role requires close collaboration with senior business leaders, global finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to align financial and operational performance with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnering – Partner with GMA Sales leadership to deliver revenue, margin and profitability targets; provide commercial insight and challenge, identify performance gaps and opportunities and develop mitigation plans with Sales Leadership.
- Performance Reporting & Management – Own executive performance reporting (Incl International Accounts Business Case update), providing clear commentary and recommendations across revenue, gross profit, forecast, pipeline, commissions, risks and opportunities; ensure performance gaps have clear actions and accountability.
- Forecasting, Planning & Reporting Governance – Govern the GMA budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting frameworks, ensuring consistent assumptions, standards, timelines and accountability across regions. Lead performance management across revenue, margin and expenses; challenge forecast assumptions, validate pipeline-backed expectations and improve forecast accuracy and predictability.
- Pipeline Governance & Commercial Challenge – Govern pipeline progression, conversion and slippage against revenue and growth targets; challenge Sales commitments and ensure material gaps have clear mitigation plans, owners and actions.
- Revenue Recognition & Order Conversion – Work with Sales, Service Delivery and Markets to track major wins/orders through implementation into revenue; provide visibility of order-to-revenue timing, P&L impact and operational issues affecting revenue realisation.
- Customer & Channel Profitability – Lead profitability analysis at customer and channel level, using financial insight and scenario modelling to support pricing, investment, portfolio and resource-allocation decisions.
- Commission Management & Financial Controls – Provide governance over sales commission calculations, validation, reconciliations and reporting, while maintaining robust controls and compliance across forecasting, reporting and performance-management processes.
- Performance Analytics & Digital Enablement – Own and continuously improve GMA management information, KPI definitions and reporting standards; drive data quality, automation and financial visibility through RGS Insights, Power BI and other analytical capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
