As a Senior Manager and Finance Workstream Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Finance functional delivery across large-scale Oracle Finance Transformation programmes. You will act as the senior functional leader for Finance, overseeing multiple Finance workstreams, driving delivery excellence and ensuring successful business outcomes for our clients.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead the end-to-end Finance workstream across complex Oracle Finance Transformation programmes.
  • Provide leadership and oversight across Finance workstreams including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Tax, Expenses, Collections and Project Financial Management.
  • Lead and develop teams of Finance functional leads, solution consultants and subject matter specialists.
  • Partner closely with the Programme Director, Programme Leadership Team and Solution Architect to deliver an integrated business and technology solution.
  • Drive Finance design decisions and facilitate resolution of cross-functional process, data, controls and reporting issues.
  • Establish and govern Finance solution quality, ensuring consistency of design across all Finance domains.
  • Manage delivery scope, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions across the Finance workstream.
  • Collaborate directly with senior business stakeholders to shape and deliver Finance transformation outcomes.
  • Drive adoption of Oracle Cloud leading practices while balancing client-specific business requirements.
  • Lead Fit-to-Standard, Design, Build, Test, Cutover and Hypercare activities across the Finance domain.
  • Ensure Finance controls, governance, compliance and audit requirements are appropriately reflected within the solution design.
  • Support the development of Finance operating models, business processes and ways of working enabled by Oracle Cloud.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Deloitte's Oracle Finance Transformation practice.

Essentials:

  • Practical experience delivering Oracle ERP and Finance Transformation programmes.
  • Proven track record leading large, multidisciplinary Finance delivery teams within large-scale Oracle Finance Transformation programmes.
  • Experience leading business process transformation alongside technology implementation.
  • Strong experience across Oracle Finance Cloud including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany and Tax.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash.
  • Experience working closely with Solution Architects to define integrated Finance solutions and resolve complex design challenges.
  • Strong understanding of Finance governance, controls, compliance and audit requirements.
  • Ability to drive design authority, challenge stakeholders constructively and influence senior client decision-makers.
  • Experience managing workstream scope, programme dependencies, risks, issues and change requests.
  • Strong understanding of implementation lifecycle and delivery methodologies, including Agile, Hybrid and Waterfall approaches.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with CFOs, Finance Directors, Programme Sponsors and Technology Leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to executive, business and technical audiences.
  • Experience supporting Finance data migration, testing, cutover and business readiness activities.
  • Practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence and emerging Oracle capabilities, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve Finance processes, automation and decision-making.
  • Ability to travel when required.

Desirables:

  • Experience of Finance operating model design and process standardisation.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and leading Finance control frameworks.
  • Experience integrating Oracle ERP with upstream and downstream operational systems.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications.
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to obtain UK Government Security Clearance.
