Senior Manager, FP&A Insights – Fast-Track to Finance Director

Location: London (hybrid 3-4 days office-based) | Reports to: VP, FP&A
Package: c. £90,000–£110,000 + 15% bonus + Bens

The opportunity

This is a rare chance to build a brand-new function from the ground up, working directly with one of the sharpest CFOs in the technology sector, inside a business turning over multiple £billions a year.

We are creating a centralised Insights function for a global technology solutions provider with thousands of employees and a footprint spanning dozens of countries. This role owns the cost, payroll and productivity story for the CFO: not producing the pack, but explaining what is really driving the numbers and what to do about it.

This is explicitly built as a launchpad. The business is committed to a genuine development path to Finance Director level for the right person, with senior leadership actively supporting your progression, not just filling a seat.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll own

  • The full SG&A, OpEx and payroll narrative for a £multi-billion organisation
  • Cost and headcount productivity analysis that goes straight to the CFO and shapes real decisions
  • Separating structural cost from noise: run-rate versus one-off, like-for-like versus reported
  • Leading a pod, with an analyst reporting to you, setting the analytical agenda for the pillar
  • A seat at the table with senior finance leadership from day one, not months in

What you'll bring

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with relevant PQE
  • 8–12 years' experience, with real-time owning FP&A at scale in a large complex business
  • Proven experience operating in a large Group, multi-department business, thousands of employees, many cost centres
  • A track record of turning cost data into insight that changed a leadership decision, not just described a variance
  • The instinct to ask why, not just what: curiosity is non-negotiable
  • Genuine AI tooling experience and a deep curiosity in AI and Tech
